Uploading a photo is easy
- Click "browse" and simply select a JPEG file from your hard drive.
- Click "preview" to have a quick look at the photo before you upload it to us.
- Click "upload" and a copy of the photo is sent from your PC to our server.
It can take a few seconds to a few minutes for your photo to upload; it depends on the size of your JPEG file and your connection speed. A 200k JPEG file (typical medium-resolution image) will take about a minute to upload if you're using a 56k modem, about half that for a 64K ISDN line.

JPEG files only
The image file you upload to us must be in the JPEG (.jpg) format. We can produce excellent quality photographic prints from JPEG files. Most digital cameras store images in this format. If your images are saved in a format other than .jpg, you can use an image-editing application to convert the files to .jpg
File size
In general your file should be bigger than 100kb and preferably bigger than 250kb.
It's best to upload the actual image you have taken from your digital camera (provided it's in JPEG format). If you are compressing the file don't compress it too much or you will lose too much of the quality.
We can get a good quality 8X10 print from a good quality 250kb image. We do not except files larger than 2megs.
Orientation of the photo
Make sure your photo is rotated to the correct orientation before you upload it i.e. sitting the right way up on the screen, landscape or portrait. If it is the wrong way around you can still frame it but your going to be looking at it sideways on the screen.
